Directions:
1. Go to Google Classroom (you can click the link below) and download the newest running record. It is already titled "Chemical Change Running Record." Make sure you put it in your Science folder on the drive. 2. You need to fill in the lines that say "UNIT" and "DRIVING QUESTION." Unit: Chemical Change Driving Question: Why did the instant cold pack turn cold? 3. Then, you need to reflect on the activity: "Crime Scene with Chemical and Physical Changes." 4. Check in with Ms Saikin or Miss Stahl when you think you are finished. Click on the link below to watch a video about chemical and physical changes. As you watch the video, take notes in your T-chart comparing the two types of changes.
Chemical vs. Physical Changes Directions:
1. Create a double entry on your next blank page. Split your page down the middle. Label the left side, "My first thoughts" and the right side "My new thoughts." Title the page "Atoms and Molecules" 2. On the left side of your entry, draw each molecule below. This should be a review, but you can use the notes you have in your journal to help you.
